Sushi Ala Pinoy: The Sushi that will Suit your Filipino Tastes

Do you like Sushi? Yes? No? Well, that doesn't matter cause now you'll be enjoying the taste of sushi with your favorite ham and hotdog fillings!

Sushi Ala Pinoy is a business founded by the students of Grade 12-AB12 namely, Renz Nelson Amat, Dejan Christ Balagtas, Carl Andrei Bergano, Michaella Mariette Cabling, and Marielle Maye Catapang. We were able to talk to one of the founders of this business, Ms. Michaella Cabliing, and she shared to us how the business concept came to be.

“Naisip kasi namin na ang dami talagang pinoy na fan ng sushi, so we wanted to offer Sushi in a filipino way."

To offer sushi in a Filipino way, they decided to use lumpia wrapper, one of the most common ingredient in Filipino cuisine. As of now, they have two varieties of Sushi;

-Hotdog Sushi

-Ham and Egg Sushi

Although hotdogs and ham are not necessarily Filipino, it's really popular as breakfast viand in the country. However, in the long run, the business stated that they will be introducing Tocino Sushi, to fully embrace the Filipino theme of the business.

The company believes in quality over quantity. "It's a taste you'll never forget" (non-verbatim). Although their products are affordable, they are very much targeting a new taste that would make you want to come back again.
